FAQ Alumni & Alumnae Reunion

• Who can participate?

All USI alumni may participate, i.e. all those who have obtained a four-year degree, Architecture diploma, Bachelor degree, Master degree, PhD, Executive Master degree at USI in the first 25 years. To register, you need a personal invitation with an access code.

• The registration site asks me for a personal code. What is it?

In order to participate, you must have received your personal invitation by email with your personal access code. Please note that participation in the reunion, both on campus and online, is reserved exclusively for USI alumni. If you have not received your invitation, please contact us and we will send it to you with your personal code.

• I have not received my invitation or I have lost it. How can I register?

Your personal invitation and access code have been sent to the email address you have given us as your primary. If you have not received it, please contact us at [email protected] with an updated email address and we will send you your personal invitation with the access code.

• Are there any costs to participate?

There is no cost, neither to register nor to attend the Alumni Reunion.

• Can I attend on campus only for one day?

On the registration form you can select where and when you want/can participate on campus. Please note that you will need our confirmation that there are still places available, also in accordance with COVID-19 provisions. You can in any case follow the event online.

• Where can I park?

There are municipal car parks near USI:

• Campus Mendrisio: Ospedale car park;
• Campus Lugano: Ospedale Italiano car park, USI West Campus car park, USI East Campus car park.

• Can I be accompanied?

Due to COVID-19 provisions, we are currently only allowing on-campus access to USI graduates. We are very sorry, but we will make up for it soon, with partners and children. At the trekking on Sunday it is possible to be accompanied.

• Is there a babysitting service?

Upon request, a babysitting service is available on campus for the duration of the event, in Lugano in the new Campus Est, in Mendrisio in an ad-hoc classroom. Due to COVID-19 provisions, the babysitting service, which is totally free of charge, will be available only and exclusively upon reservation and once the maximum capacity has been reached.

• How do I unsubscribe if I can no longer participate?

If you have registered and are confirmed to attend on campus but can no longer take participate, please contact us at [email protected]

That way we can allow another graduate to attend live.

If you have only registered for the online sessions, we are sorry that you will not be able to participate, but you will still be able to watch the recorded event which will be posted the day after.

• How can I see who else has registered?

You can see who among USI alumni has already registered here.

If you want to contact and connect to other registered alumni before the reunion, you can go to the event website, see who has registered and chat with other alumni.

• Do I have to have a swab or a vaccine in order to participate on campus?

We will be able to give you a definitive and precise answer based on the guidelines issued by the Federal Office of Public Health closer to the event.
